Southern Dreams Farm
Hello, and thank you for visiting our website. We are Shawn and Jeff Davenport and our farm is located in Powells Point, NC. We have lived here in Currituck County for most of our lives. Jeff was born and raised here. Shawn was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and moved to the area in 1981.
We both are at the age now that we are ready to retire and continue to build on our dream farm. We live on five acres of agriculture grade land. Our farm animals are located on our side and back yards.
MORE ABOUT OUR FARM
Our pasture chickens are out daily eating grass, bugs, and grubs along
with our ducks. They are primarily fed pellet layer feed that provides them with the nutritional requirements which keeps them healthy and consistently producing well-formed eggs. We also give them scraps from the garden, in season, and our table scraps.
Our quail are raised in aviaries to give them freedom to fly, chase, rest and enjoy the soft wind of the nature. We feed them Purina complete and balanced game bird feed to help support growth and development.
